Nightcapjournal saved my life!
I found fellowship, friendship and sponsors here. It is real AA! I never knew what a good sponsor’s role should be until I got here. Living in the boondocks with no face-to-face meetings nearby, I can now stay connected to the program and to the people like me. The live video meetings are basically every other hour.
When I got out of the institution and rehab after thirty-eight days, I found Nightcapjournal in a couple of days - one of the early miracles. Unemployed and unable to drive, I was in just about every meeting for the first couple of months. To say my sanity was restored here in all those meetings would be an understatement. Those meetings gave me my sanity, hope, reality, faith and a new way of life.
With only a few exceptions, I’ve gotten closer to the members here than at my face-to-face meetings. I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting some of my Nightcapjournal friends in person. We know each other as though we lived on the same block. We are family, sharing in one another’s joys, accomplishments, struggles, hope, faith, sorrow, sadness, and loses. I am truly blessed to be a part of this wonderfully loving family!
