A Legacy of Hope That Will Live On
The Nightcapjournal family is heartbroken by the passing of our beloved co-founder, Ken “MrClean” Pomerance, who peacefully completed his earthly journey on June 20, 2026, surrounded by his family. While we mourn this loss, we also celebrate a life devoted to helping others find hope, connection, and recovery.

Kenny believed that no one should have to recover alone. Together with his friend and co-founder, Ron Tannebaum, he helped build Nightcapjournal into a global recovery community where millions of people have found support, fellowship, and a renewed sense of purpose. His vision created a place where anyone, anywhere, could reach out and know they belonged.
Those who knew Kenny will remember his kindness, generosity, humor, and unwavering compassion. He had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcomed, heard, and valued. His legacy is reflected not only in the community he helped create, but in the countless lives transformed through hope and service.
